Habitat

Habitat

A habitat is a place where plants and animals live.

The rainforest is a habitat to over 10 million different animals, insects and plants like sumatran tigers, orangutans and jumping spiders.

One hectare of rainforest (which is around the size of a football pitch) has more than 750 species of trees and 1500 species of plant.

There are so many different plants and animals that live there that lots of them haven't even been discovered yet!
